A micro school is a small learning environment designed to provide students with more individualized attention and support than a traditional classroom. Micro schools typically have small class sizes, flexible learning approaches, and a focus on helping students build both academic skills and personal confidence.
At Ms. Tea's Learning Studio, our micro school environment allows students to receive more guidance, structure, and encouragement throughout the school day.
Ms. Tea's Learning Studio operates as a small learning studio that supports families who choose alternative education options for their children. Many families who join our program are transitioning from traditional schools and are looking for a smaller, more structured learning environment where their child can receive additional support.
Ms. Tea's Learning Studio serves families in Princeton, Texas and surrounding communities. For privacy and safety reasons, the exact address is shared with enrolled families after the enrollment process is completed.

Yes. Ms. Tea's Learning Studio offers an extended day option for families who need additional time after the regular school day ends.
The afterschool period includes snacks, physical activity, sports training, and optional academic support for students who may need extra help with assignments.
Student progress is monitored through a combination of assignments, projects, participation, and regular academic reviews. Because our learning environment is smaller, students receive more individualized guidance throughout the day, allowing us to better understand their strengths and areas where additional support may be needed.
Parents will receive updates about their child’s progress and can communicate directly with Ms. Tea if they have questions about their student’s development.
Yes. Student progress is documented through regular assessments and academic reviews. Parents will receive updates that help them understand how their child is progressing in core subjects such as math, reading, writing, science, and history.
Our goal is to ensure that students are building strong academic foundations while also developing confidence in their abilities.
Yes. Many families choose alternative learning environments for a period of time to help their child rebuild confidence, strengthen academic skills, or receive more support.
If a family later decides to return to a traditional school setting, we maintain academic records that can help support that transition.
Tuition for the micro school program is $550 per month per student.
This tuition supports the learning environment, materials, resources, and instruction provided throughout the school year.
Additional programs such as tutoring or special camps may have separate fees.
Parents are responsible for providing their child’s lunch each day. Basic learning materials are provided, although families may occasionally be asked to contribute certain supplies for special projects or activities.
Additional details are included in the parent handbook.
Students participate in a structured learning day that includes focused academic instruction, independent learning, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions.
Our schedule also includes STEM exploration, outdoor learning opportunities, and time for students to build confidence through interactive lessons.

Many families who join Ms. Tea's Learning Studio are looking for a smaller environment where their child can receive more support and guidance.
While we are not a special education program, we do take time to understand each student's learning style and work with parents to create a learning environment that supports their child's growth and success.
Yes. If a student has an existing IEP or 504 plan, we review those documents to better understand how the student learns and what types of support have helped them in the past.
While Ms. Tea's Learning Studio is not a special education program, understanding a student's learning needs helps us provide a more supportive environment.
Our enrollment process includes several steps to ensure that our learning environment is the right fit for each student and family.
-Submit the student interest form.
-Schedule a short parent call.
-Participate in a parent meeting or interview.
-Receive enrollment confirmation if space is available.
Because we maintain small class sizes, enrollment is limited.
Ms. Tea's Learning Studio intentionally maintains small class sizes so that students can receive more individual attention and support throughout the day.
Yes. Because we maintain small class sizes, spaces can fill quickly. Families may join the waitlist to be notified when additional enrollment opportunities become available.
Parents receive regular communication about their child's progress, important updates, and upcoming activities.
We also provide access to a parent portal where families can stay connected with announcements, resources, and school updates.
Students who need additional support may receive extra guidance during the school day. Because our learning studio maintains small class sizes, we are able to provide more individualized attention than many traditional classroom settings.
When needed, we may also recommend additional tutoring support to help students strengthen their academic skills.
Our learning environment focuses on structure, clear expectations, and accountability. Students are expected to respect their peers, participate in learning activities, and follow the guidelines outlined in the student handbook.
When behavior concerns arise, we work with both the student and their parents to address the situation and help the student develop better habits and decision-making skills.
Our goal is to guide students toward positive behavior while maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
Many students benefit from smaller learning environments where teachers have more time to provide guidance and support. Clear routines, structured learning blocks, and individualized attention often help students stay more engaged throughout the day.
We also work with parents to better understand each student’s learning style and identify strategies that help them succeed.
Ms. Tea’s Learning Studio provides a smaller learning environment where students receive more attention, guidance, and encouragement throughout the day.
Rather than large classrooms where teachers must divide their attention among many students, our learning studio allows for more individualized support, hands-on learning opportunities, and meaningful connections between students and their instructor.
For many families, this type of environment helps students rebuild confidence and rediscover their ability to succeed.

We’re dedicated to nurturing your child’s growth and development. Thank you for trusting us to be part of their journey. Stay connected for updates, tips, and more!
